These days, you can make a living providing content online.
Depending on length and time involved for research, as well as your experience and level of skill, you can command anywhere between $5 and more than $100 an article. Website owners are looking for writers to provide regular content for their sites. Even magazines and newspapers are looking for additional online content. Companies are looking for writers to create content for web pages, social media profiles, marketing materials and blogs. Public relations firms look for ad copy, press releases and marketing materials. Places like Elance or Odesk have thousands of different job openings available for freelance writers. But you don’t have to be a freelance photographer taking pictures of others on demand. You can also earn money as a freelancer selling photos. You can provide stock images to companies , or you can earn money through web sites (like Shutterstock.com, 123RF.com,Dreamstime.com, CreStock.com, Fotolia.com.) that offer stock images for use online. You are paid for your work each time it is used by someone. You can take pictures of landscapes, or create creative photos and photo illustrations that others can pay to use. This can provide a decent source of residual income if your photos are popular enough.
